Insurance Claims

Foundation Settlement

We were called for an insurance claim to a Lakeview masonry condo building that had signs of distress and water infiltration.  Looking at the interior doors, walls and trim work, quickly led us to cracks in the foundation and to the new construction next door; where we were able to show the work of the builder, the excavator and the plumber led to damages totaling over $600,000 suffered by the neighbor including foundation settlement that cracked foundation walls, masonry wall damage, water infiltration and cracks in the interior drywall.  For this project we will be gutting the entire first and basement floors, underpinning the foundation and rebuilding the first floor unit as well as sections of the 2nd and 3rd floors and a complete replacement of the front brick and stone facade.
